Who is the CEO ?
MaCayla Moody, a native of Warner Robins, Georgia, is a 21 year old forensic science scholar at Savannah State University. Her post graduation plans are to attend Piedmont University to obtain her Masters degree in forensic science. Relaunching the store in 2026 on her coronation day as Miss Savannah State, she wants all of her customers to feel the luxury at an affordable price.
Why I Started Honey B’s Luxuries

On May 25th, 2021, MaCayla’s grandmother, Betty “Honey” Grimes passed away. She was her biggest supporter in everything she did and was always there when she needed a shoulder to cry on. She was a spiritual woman who always walked in her faith. MaCayla talked about her business name numerous times with her grandmother but never settled on a name. Before she passed, Honey told MaCayla, “You can call it what you want. Just make it meaningful.” So, that’s exactly what she did. Honey B’s Luxuries is named after the woman who shielded her from all harm and corrected her when wrong. She launched on August 27th, 2021 on her 70th birthday.
